Permanent
Total Disability Indemnity
If because of injury and
commencing within 180 days of the date of the accident, the insured is totally
and permanently disabled and prevented from engaging in any occupation for wage
or profit for which he is reasonably qualified, the company will pay 50% of
the principal sum less any amount already paid or payable under the principal
sum as the result of the same accident, provided the disability has continued
for a period of 12 consecutive months and is total, continuous and permanent at
the end of the period.
Accidental
Medical Expense Reimbursement
Up
to 10% of the Principal Sum
If an injury requires medical
care within 52 weeks after the date of a covered accident, the actual expense
incurred, not to exceed 10% of the principal sum selected will be reimbursed.
This includes the services of a legally qualified physician, surgeon, graduate
nurse, use of operating rooms, anesthetic, x-ray examinations or treatments, laboratory
tests, medicines or any other therapeutic services and supplies charged by the
hospital.
Daily
In-Hospital Income
Up
to P 150.00 per day
As long as 60 days in a
hospital. If sickness requires hospital confinement for one day or sixty days,
you will receive P 150.00 per day of benefits.
Exceptions:
Suicide, war, professional
athletics, pregnancy or miscarriage, air travel other than as a passenger, intoxicants
or drugs, illegal acts, congenital anomalies, mental nervuos disorder, dental
surgery, routine physical examinations, plastic surgery, murder and provoked assault.
